China Hunan Electric Power Insulator & Apparatus Factory belongs to Hunan electric power corporation. It's the unique manufacture enterprise of state grid corporation and the main producing enterprise in China which produce high voltage insulators and apparatus.
The techniques and testing equipments are top ranking in this field. It has 10000m2 modern workshops, 1000m2 10000-grade air-purification room, power frequency test equipment of 1000kV without partial discharge, 3000kV impulse voltage transmitter and etc. It has production and testing conditions for high voltage apparatus under 750kV.
The corporation has consumated ISO9001:2000 quality management systerm(QMS),ISO14001:2004 environmental management systerm(EMS),and GB/T28001-2001 occupational health and safety management systerm(OHSMS),also the corporation has got the verified certification of the QMS,the EMS and the OHSMS. The main products are transformers of 35kV~500kV, 110kV~220kV wall bushings, transformer bushings, ZnO lightning arrester, solid-core post insulators and porcelain bushings and so on. There are more than 30000 pcs high voltage transformers were sold in domestic and abroad. At present, the 500kV products adopted in 500kV substations and large power stations widely (Pls see the attached outstanding achievement list). All the products are in good service state.
The factory is putting high emphasis on technology and products development. Two products were awarded the third prize of national scientific progress and many items were obtained the first prize of provincial scientific progress. And the development of 500kV SF6 gas-insulated current transformer and 220kV optical instrument transformer that are our leading products reaches the international advanced level.
Through taking the great chances of electrical development, developing some high-class products and expanding markets, the factory has grown rapidly during the period of the tenth "Five-year" plan and became a leading enterprise in typical industry of Hunan province. It has also awarded high-tech and civilized enterprise in Hunan.
